Jamboree – Sunday 25th September

Join us on Sunday 25th September 2016 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for JAMBOREE, a public feast of jam, jelly, chutney and other preserves made during this year’s East End Jam workshop.

The Jamboree is part of Harvest Stomp a free festival celebrating urban food, joining in with the London-wide Urban Food Fortnight.

From 12.30 – 5.30pm we’ll be based near the Timber Lodge/Tumbling Bay playground with a Apple, Pear and Plum jam, Rowan and Apple jelly, Balckberry Jam, ‘East-End’ chutney, Rosehip, Elderflower and Apple Jelly, plus much more – all served on bread from Haggerston’s Better Health Bakery – a social enterprise producing handcrafted sourdough bread.

At 2.30pm expert forager Jason Irving will lead a walk around the park, identifying edible and medicinal plants.
